Asus launched the Asus Zenfone 5Z last year, but its price was cut only after its launch. Asus 5Z was launched in the market in July 2018 with an initial price of Rs 29,999 / -. Earlier it was known as Zenfone, but due to the difficulties of trademark registration it is now known as Asus 5Z.
Asus 5Z is now getting a new update which will make it better in terms of security, sound and system optimization. Firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates are being released slowly in India by making batches, which may take a few days to reach all eligible devices.
The latest software update of Asus 5Z has three major changes to the login, the first update includes an Android security patch and improved sound quality as well as an effort to improve update system optimization. No major features have been added to the phone with this update, but still these will be very useful for users of fixed-smartphone smartphones.
The Asus 5Z smartphone was launched last year, and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Asus 5Z phone was first launched to run Android Oreo, but shortly thereafter it received an update to the latest version of Android v9.0 Pie.
As we told you above, the sale of Zen and Zenfone has been banned in India due to the difficulties of trademark registration. Due to which Asus may have to change the name of all its upcoming smartphones. Asus will now launch its upcoming flagship smartphone Asus ZenFone 6Z in India as Asus 6Z.
